Data Centre Locations Forum in Kouvola 13.-15.9.

EBIC KYMI OY has been commissioned by the local government of the South Eastern region of Finland , UPM and City of Kouvola to highlight Finland for the location of data centres.
We are therefore producing an event called Data Centre Locations Forum 13-15 September in Kouvola, which will discuss data centre expansion, new technologies and design, new products and the impact of talent, the environment and cost on setting up centres.
You probably already know that Google has already spotted the potential in this geographical location as they are preparing to locate a data centre in the old Summa paper mill located nearby– obviously a great way of bringing an old building to life, and at the same time using the natural cooling system of the surrounding Baltic sea. In fact the Google Head of Data Centres is flying over from Silicon Valley to give a presentation at our event. More info.
