Voikkaa Business Area
Voikkaa mills were closed in 2006. Former paper mill area has become Voikkaa Business Park on which currently works ca. 25 companies and over 200 employees.
There is still room for new companies in the Voikkaa Business Area and a lot of work has been done with it in a joint project of UPM Real Estate, Vision Hunters ltd and Ebic Kymi ltd.
All companies are welcome to discuss about locating in Voikkaa Business Area.
Actively searched branches of business to Voikkaa Business Area are data center industry, wood industry and machinery. Recent Google investment in Summa mills proves that paper mill environment is a competitive location for data center. Voikkaa Business Area is suitable also for wood industry and machinery because of its strong cranes and high carrying capacity of the hall floors.
Voikkaa Business Area is very well located in the means of road and railway connections and next to a water power mill. The buildings are kept in good shape and there is plenty of furnished office room available. The area is guarded and fenced. Employees will have enough parking space for their cars there and a possibility to have lunch.
